How we help EQUIP the Saints (that’s you!):
LET’S TALK CHURCH Early Christian disciples modeled church as covenant community. What does that look like? Simply put: A GROUP of believers who regularly meet together to share their lives and their faith. True Biblical discipleship happens in the context of intentional relationships gathered around the Scriptures.
Hebrews 10:24-25a “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together.”
1. “Start Simple” Sunday Sermon Discussion Groups– using the application questions after Sunday messages, these groups choose to share a meal and a conversation highlighting content taught on Sundays. This is a simple but impactful way to provide accountability, depth of understanding and sharpening as we grow together in community.
2. “Go Deeper” Bible Book of the Month Groups- Beginning in April 2024, these groups will read the featured book of the Bible verse-by-verse in home settings and discuss. (Hint: our pastors will provide podcasts in advance to help with difficult passages.)
3. Midweek Small Group Opportunities- Each Wednesday, we provide special opportunities for small groups to pray, study and grow!
FIRST Wednesdays: “Open-House” Prayer and Communion Night at both campuses at 6:30 p.m. Bring your family and your small groups to pray, take communion and receive prayer.
SECOND Wednesdays: Arise Women’s Ministry airs new small group content for women of all ages. Women’s small groups can choose to meet any time during the month and utilize this video content which includes worship, a message and discussion questions.
THIRD Wednesdays: Band of Brothers Men’s Ministry airs new small group content for men! Men’s small groups can choose to meet any time during the month and utilize this video content as they gather.
FOURTH Wednesdays: Small Group Leaders’ Dinners with dinner at 6:00 p.m. and deeper teaching, designed to equip you to lead your small groups at 6:30 p.m. Registration required.
